A Visit from Perry the Bull

As part of the run up to Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022, we had a visit from the Official Games Mascot, Perry the Bull. The children had a great time learning about the games and taking part in a warm up and dancing activities. He also presented the school with our own mini Perry.

World Book Day 2022

World Book Day 2022 at Cottesbrooke was a brilliant day full of fantastic costumes, sharing amazing stories and spreading the love of reading all across our school. We had a fantastic assembly in the morning led by Mrs McNickle-Edwards. We learnt it was the 25th anniversary year of World Book Day and it is celebrated all across the world! 

Throughout the day we took part in World Book Day activities and got to listen to brilliant stories being read by different people throughout the day. We hope you enjoy looking through the photos below of our special day.
